How to measure your boat to select proper shaft length
The majority of boats will need a Short shaft model. Measure from the waterline to your transom top. If it is between 11 and 17 inches, use the Short shaft model. If it is more than 17 inches, select the Long shaft model. If it is under 12 inches a special Mini version can be ordered. If it is over 22 inches, you probably need a more powerful motor or a mounting kit. Call Customer Service for further help.

SAFETY FEATURES:

  • Waterproof battery case floats in case of an accidental dunking.
  • Motor shaft is waterproof.
  • Motor tilts up freely if it contacts the ground or rocks. Easily lift motor up with tilt-up tiller arm.
  • Magnetic key doubles as a safety off-switch in case you and you boat separate.
  • Long tiller arm allows you to sit forward and centered.
  • Security lock fixes the motor to the boat and secures the battery to the motor.
  • 'Course hold' keeps the throttle knob and the direction of the motor system stable even when your hand is not on the tiller.
  • NiMH batteries are lightweight, safe for transport, easy to care for and contain no cadmium.

  • PWM power management controls allow you to precisely control your throttle and trolling speed.
  • Smart charger uses high current to charge quickly.
  • Easy to replace propeller cartridge, even on the water.
