The EP Carry short shaft, short tiller motor weighs 14 lb. For long tiller version, add 0.2 lb. For long shaft, add 0.4 lb.
The EP Carry battery without cord and bag weighs 5.5 lb. The battery cord weighs 0.5 lb and the buoyant bag weighs 0.4 lb. The complete battery weight is 6.4 lb.

Note that sliding the entire motor forward 4" on its shaft moves the center of balance creating a stable raised position without the need for a mechanical latch (not shown). This reduces the need to lean over to reach a lift-release latch which is a useful feature on a small tippy boat. When in this forward position, the 10.9” dimension becomes 14.9" and the 33.6 dimension is reduced to 29.6". Tiller is shown in a parked position but it can also be left pointing forward in which case, lowering the motor can be done without leaning and from your seated position.
